Progression Athletics Topgolf Tournament Fundraiser – Portland

Thank you for your interest in our Progression Athletics International (PAI) golf tournament fundraisers. We look forward to having a fun and successful tournament with your participation. As always, 100% of the proceeds from the tournament will go directly to PAI and be used to support our local programs that provide at-risk foster youth the ability to play recreational sports.
All golfers will participate in a Topgolf tournament.
At lunch prior to the tournament, we will provide an update on PAI along with photos and stories of our success!
We look forward to seeing you at the tournament and would love if you would share the event with your friends who may be interested.

About the Cause
Sports are a universal language no matter your age, gender or ethnicity. They are a high impact, low cost tool that can affect countless lives and inspire change in all who participate.
Today, millions of children around the world have the privilege to play recreational sports. Progression Athletics International was created with a mission to bring those same opportunities to the even greater number of at-risk youth who do not have the same opportunity. Since 2011, we have impacted over 13,000 youth in six countries around the world.
One of the main programs we offer are sports clinics both domestically and internationally. At these events we provide training, T-shirts, sports bags, wrist bands, and trophies to those who demonstrate positive behavior. Many of the children we work with do not have parents, have been abused or neglected and are looking for LOVE. We try to provide this through the power of sport.
Athletics have the unique power to attract, mobilize, and inspire. In order for a sport to be a success, multiple participants have to share the same vision and goal. Sports help teach life values such as respect for the opponent, competition, acceptance of binding rules, teamwork and fairness.
Nelson Mandela said it best: “Sport has the power to change the world…it has the power to inspire. It has the power to unite people in a way that little else does. It speaks to youth in a language they understand. Sport can create hope where once there was only despair. It is more powerful than government in breaking down racial barriers.”
