NOTE: This is a flexible part time volunteer position of 1-2 hours a week.
Progression Athletics International (PAI) is an athletic based non-profit organization that serves the at-risk youth community. We have outreaches in 5 countries around the world as well as countless partnerships throughout the United States. The mission of our organization is to promote life skills and empower at-risk youth through athletics, while also while building relationships with our volunteers.
We are looking for Regional Directors across the country to be advocates in their community and coordinate events. This is not a huge time commitment (only 1-2hrs a week MAX) and it is very flexible. We are looking for someone with a passion of sports and giving back to the community. The Regional Director would be responsible for the relationship with their local children’s facility and scheduling 3-4 events a year.

PAI is seeking a part-time Social Media Coordinator to create compelling and dynamic content that will build and sustain awareness about our organization using key social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and blogs. The Social Media Coordinator will work collaboratively with colleagues from across the organization to promote the goals, messages, image and awareness. The coordinator will support the development, implementation and monitoring of social media campaigns across a number of platforms and will write and gather content for electronic publications, social media and blogs.

Social media content creation:
The Grant Writer is primarily responsible for developing and writing grant proposals to foundations and other grant-making organizations, and will persuasively communicate PAI’s mission and programs to potential funders. Reporting to the C.E.O., the Grant Writer will assemble and submit grant requests and see the proposal through to the submission process.
Our internship positions will provide someone with substantial experience in nonprofit development and management, grant writing, events planning, researching donor prospects, solicitation strategizing, in addition to gaining other valuable skills while working with a world wide sports organization.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following. Each intern will be encouraged to take a leadership role in spearheading their own project within the objectives depending on one’s experience and hours of availability.

This position provides a student with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit operations, with potential opportunities for special projects depending on the applicant’s skills.
